- Important:
- ----------
- If you have problems with the colors or the program fails to detect
- your SVGA adapter, you can force it to recognize your setup as
- follows.
- The program uses two parameters:
- Strip.exe [VGA adapter] [number of colors]
- where VGA adapter can be either "VGA" or "SVGA"
- For the number of colors, enter the maximum number of colors that can
- be displayed on your screen.
- SVGA means Windows is running in 800 by 600 pixel resolution or
- higher.
- VGA means Windows is running in 640 by 480 pixel resolution.
-
- Examples:
- Windows is running in 800 by 600 pixel resolution and you can display
- 32768 colors.
-
- Strip.exe SVGA 32768
-
- Windows is running in 640 by 480 pixel resolution and you can display
- 256 colors.
-
- Strip.exe VGA 256
-
- At 640 by 480 pixel resolution you need at least 256 colors.
-
- !!!Please only do this if you have display problems!!!
-
- If your VGA adapter is installed with LARGE FONTS, the graphics will
- not display correctly. Install your VGA adapter driver with SMALL
- FONTS.
